North Russia - Russian Lapland
Our guest house is located on the island "High" of the lake Lovozero on the Kola Peninsula. This territory of Russian Far North is called Russian Lapland. Our wooden, two-stored house has four rooms, lounge with fireplace and large plasma TV, dining room with refrigerator and stove, sauna, billiard room. TClose to guest house there is an insulated trailer with stove, gas stove, sink for additional accommodation. Lovozero - the place is very beautiful and mysterious, there will be interesting to those who can appreciate the beauty of the Russian Far North.
Island "High"
The island is located in the southern part of Lake Lovozero. Its area is about 22 hectares. Distance from the village of Lovozero - 35 km. In summer you can get here by motor boat, and in winter by snowmobile on the frozen lake. In the vicinity of the island are located protected buffer zone, lake Seydozero, Lovozero Massif (Lovozyorskiye Tundry) and mysterious island called "Magic" (Warlock) - recognized as one of the most puzzling points on the world map.
Lake Lovozero
Lovozero - the third largest lake on the Kola peninsula, it's water surface is more than 200 square kilometers. The lake is rich of fish,it's name translates as "catchability Lake". Lovozero is stretched from north to south and has more than a hundred islands. Eastern shore of Lake is flat, covered with mixed forest. Western shore is rests on the steep foothills of the earth oldest mountains Lovozero Massif, creating incredible beautiful landscapes.
Russian North travel and fishing
Summer and ice fishing, hunting, trekking, rafting on the tundra rivers, snowmobile safaris, riding deers and motor snowboards, ethnography-tours - this is not a complete list of what we can offer our guests. Four imported snowmobiles, sleds, two motor snowboards "Black Diamond PowerBoard" are ready for outdoor activities in winter. Motor boat with a powerful water-jet engine and two inflatable boats with motors are for fishing and traveling during summer time.
Rest in comfort
Our guest house is built to provide you comfort and quality. Each of three rooms have individual WC with showers (hot water - around the clock). In one room there is a large double bed, plasma TV with satellite TV and DVD. Other rooms have single and bunk beds. Our cook will feed you with excellent home-made food - national and classic dishes. Electricity is supplied by wind-diesel generator. Drinking water is delivered from the nearest spring, although you can safely take water directly from the lake.
